Trick or Treat !

In North America ,I found one similar culture to our "BHAILO" of Tihar. Here it is called HALLOWIN.Actually the children will take part in this program. Its coincident that the our Tihar and the Hallowin was in same day and celebrating style is also same . The American people will celebrate this day with decorating the house exactly like in our Tihar. I don't know origin and reason between these two cultural similarities. When the children from my country were playing the bhailo the children here were celebrating hallowin. In Hallowin, children will go door to door and says "trick or treat ". It means show your trick or give any thing as a treat. So the people will give chocolate to the children and give some money.The money which they are begging will goes to the well fare of the children of poor countries. This year UNICEF has given one small box to hang on each child so the house owner can see the box and donate some money for the students of the underdeveloped countries. On this picture also the girl is carrying the pink pox to collect the money. I am very impressed from this work that they are enjoying the festivals as well as helping to survive thousands of colleagues all over the world. It would have better that we could also teach such creative work to our childern rather than promoting them to go picnic.
